VESL’s Thailand Programme Manager (Nueng Yanarangsee) has just returned home after a very successful visit to the UK. Nueng travelled to the UK with one of our project hosts (Pongsri) and the Director of Mengrai school (Mr. Garan) and his wife.
The aim of the visit is to enable the teachers to experience and learn about the UK education system as well as develop their English speaking skills. The visit is an invaluable opportunity to develop teaching knowledge as well as visit some past VESL volunteers.
As well as visiting schools and universities the team have managed to visit London, Hereford, Oxford, Cambridge, Sheffield, the Peak District, Norwich and Scotland as well as many other places along the way.
Many thanks to all the past volunteers who have hosted Nueng and his colleagues and helped out with their visit.
