Following a review of the Sri Lanka’s current security situation in January’s meeting of the Board of Trustees, we can confirm all projects within the South and Central Provinces are expected to go ahead as planned. Those projects within the North and East will remain on hold until an in-country review of the situation is made in April. Please be assured that VESL is continuing to monitor the situation and holds personal safety of volunteers as paramount.
