This is a great quick idea that you can do at any event (cake sale, film night etc) or approach local retailers and ask if you can run the competition there.
What is Name the Reindeer?
This is a really quick activity, you will need to buy a cuddly toy reindeer (or ask a shop to donate you one), you then create a list of names that the reindeer could be called and ask people to sign up to the name for £1. At the end of the event or after a given period of time, put all the names in a hat and pull one out. The winner gets to keep the cuddly toy reindeer! If you have 30 names then you can raise £30 really easily.
