We would like to congratulate all of this year’s volunteers for running another successful summer programme. We have received some extremely positive responses from our projects and requests to extend the programme to cover more schools have been coming in all month. We have also received most of our volunteer reports and evaluations and despite some initial difficulties (an unfortunate incident with a tuna fish springs to mind) everyone seems to have made a fantastic effort and had a great experience in return. Thanks for all your enthusiasm and hard work.
We would also like to give an especially big thank you to our in-country co-ordinators for their commitment and unflagging efforts throughout the summer. The success of the programme really is down to you guys.
Without the dedication and support of so many people it would not have been possible to achieve all that VESL has achieved, and we would like to take this opportunity to give our heartfelt thanks to all those who have helped us along the way.
